In this tutorial you
learn how to
clip the parts of a terrain that the user doesn't see to save vertex
processing, to draw the objects of a scene in a front to back order to
save pixel processing (fill rate), to apply fog to a scene and to carry
out tasks in the background, printing their progress; this is useful
because we are going to load a 1024 x 1024 map (very big map) and
processing it takes a while.
